The Stories of the 9-1-1 Operators from 9/11/01?

Does anyone know of any books, interviews, or articles of any kind which deal with the 9-1-1 operators who took calls from September 11th attacks victims? I'm dying to know what was going through these peoples minds, how they were able to deal with it, and what the after-effects of the tragedy might have been.

They were the people who dealt directly with dying people inside the buildings, reassuring them they'd be OK when they knew they wouldn't be. Just listening to the Kevin Cosgrove 9-1-1 call and the Melissa Doi call have me wishing I could hear from the operators, whether or not they're haunted by experiencing those peoples' final moments.

A native New Yorker who lost many friends in the attacks, I was profoundly affected by the events of that day, and I frequently re-live those horrifying events. It is because of these unresolved feelings that I continue to seek information. I've done tons of Google searches to no avail. If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
