Right on, Sistah! :rolleyes:

People hate Amos because his routine is one-note, outdated and simply not funny. The only person who gives a damn about his skin colour and/or his sexuality is the terminally boring Amos himself who
 
I've just seen the trailer for this and didn't find one thing funny.

It just seems as though they've replaced Omid Djalili with the latest minority act.

It looked like the exact same format. I actually found some of Djalili's stuff funny though.
 
Or Reginald I stand corrected :D but he is very funny & I particularly like the fact that on lie to me he claimed the D stood for Delicious.
 
No, it's because as below people have seen his standup and made conclusions about his act.



As I said, i'll tune in to the first to see if he has progressed from his one-dimensional routine.

I don't care if he is ethnic or a minority. It's a comedy show and i'll tune in to see if it amuses me.

It may not, as with Harry & Paul.

I found him funny when I saw some of his routine on an Australian show (he is poplar there , not sure why he first visited there) so i'm basing it on that.
Everyone knows Omid Djalili is as funny as cold liver but Amos has been funny so i'll wait until the show has been shown before giving my verdict!

Why is the show not for me?

I'm a comedy fan. I will most probably tune in to the first episode to see if I like it.
Just as I did with Harry & Paul, which I gave up on after 1 1/2 episodes.
 
That made me laugh :D

Clever mickey-take of all the reality shows that lazily use that track or similar whenever anyone passes a heat- yes Masterchef, I mean you!:p

It doesn't look like it'll be great- series by stand-ups rarely are, especially ones who have recently 'broken through', but it looks like it will be good :)

edit- just watched it again and noticed the name of the sketch- 'Take That! doctor' :D Hope it's a running joke in the show- the idea tickles me
 
This will be as funny as :-

1) Coffee colonic irrigation using unground beans.

2) Quadratic equations.

3) Gina Yashere.

If laughter could be bought in cans, this show would make the supplier rich.
