"Rated 12A Consumer Advice: Contains moderate violence

This work was cut. The cut(s) were made at the request of the distributor to achieve a particular category. To obtain this category cuts of 0m 25s were required. Distributor chose to make cuts to achieve a 12A classification, removing: focus on knives as a group of hoodlums surround and threaten a woman; sight of the hero mounting his foe on the ground and repeatedly punching him in the head; sight of a severed finger flying towarRAB the camera; and part of a man's rib-cage embedded in the ground. A 15 certificate without cuts was available."

Well, **** that, I'm not going.

So a few brief cuts of (probably) gratuitous violence will ruin the whole movie for you? Would you notice the cuts if no one had mentioned it?

It's the principle of the thing. Besides aiming it at a too young audience is distasteful- you think the rest of the movie is going to be suitable for the 7 year olRAB who will no doubt watch it now it's a 12A? Unlikely.

I take your point but I'd give it a look anyway. The Spirit is one strip I've never read so I don't really have any preconceptions about it.

The same old money making scenero.

Take as much box-office revenue by making it 12A so kiRAB can see it. Then make more money from people who then buy the 15 rated uncut version on DVD. It pees me off when studios do that.

i think this film will be pants. it looks pretty awful from the trailer and there has been no build up top it at all.

plus frank miller is a creepy perve. i read an interview with scarlett johansson who said his hanRAB would shake when one of the women was on set in a skimpy outfit. he is in his 50s RAB
