I think mine is 'Something Good'

Maria
Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truth
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good
Nothing comes from nothing
Nothing ever could
So, somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good
Captain
So here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not, you should
Maria
So somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good
Both
Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could
Maria
So, somewhere in my youth...
Captain
...or childhood
Maria
I must have done something...
Both
Something...good...

Oh I totally love this film.
Have some stills from it as part of my screensaver pictures.
Favourite moment - when Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews dance the Lendler(?) and realise how attracted they are to each other.
I could watch it every week and still not get tired of it.
It's what I think you would call a "feel good" movie, I always look forward to viewing it and each time I have I feel better for having seen it.
Scenery is beautiful, songs are wonderful and the acting ain't bad either!

:D Hooray, hooray, it's on BBC1 again this Bank Holiday weekend, so if the weather is as miserable as they promise, at least I shall be able to enjoy watching this!!:D

This is my favourite, adn has been for years.

I love the sets, the children and the music :)

This is a film that could never go out of date as it is so magical.

One of my favourite bits is when the nuns take parts out of the natzis' car :D

we should probably post under the "unpopular opinions you hold" thread! but i like her too. She has class and sophistication, and i agree is beautiful too.
