The sound from my speaker is stat-icky. What could be the problem?

It is a 6X9 Alpine speaker that is in my passenger door. It sounds stat-icky compared to the rest of the speakers but still has bass. This happens when I listen to the radio, cd, and ipod. I have an amp for my sub and an amp for all my speakers.
 
loose connection somewhere in the wiring, or possible a damaged speaker cone or voice coil

someone may have spilled some kind of liquid in or near the speakers.

oh my god i have the same problem in my speaker on my passanger door you just need to take it out and clean it abit and make sure its really tight when you put it back on
