The so called "Cinema Experience"

Just venting my fustration at another film spoiled by lack of maintenance of their projection equipment. :mad:

I went to the greenwich filmworks which is supposedly the new genaration in cinema experience only to have the film look all unfocused and grainy. I can understand if this was an small independent on a low budget but I think i should expect better.

The film was national treasure, so i wasnt viewing for its oscar contention, if you get my drift.

I think i'll write to their (UCI) management and see why I shouldn't just wait for a film to come out on dvd.
 
I went to Ster cinema in Basingstoke once, and Sters screens are HUGE! bigger then odeon, I swear!
And there screens were unfocused.
Have stopped using odeon and gone for my loca independant, I hope as they are smaller they are dedicated, these cinemas also usually show better films.
 
I was so hepped up to see ROTK, and when it came on everyone was long and thin for the first five mins, which totally stopped me from being sutured in form the get go!
