...never heard of Henry Ford? "Noir" is of course French for black; so when Henry was asked why he didn't offer colour choice for the Model T Ford he said "They can choose any colour they want so long as they chose black" and much to his surprise they bought other makes of car, in different colours. Exit the Model T.
