The voice was creepy, but I know what you mean. But I could totally see a sequel coming for that one! ;)

Oh, this movie also gave me mixed feelings. It was one of the more creative thrillers, though. Papa Justify's recording DID give me major chills and I was scared when I heard it.

I loved this movie! Gena Rowlands was perfectly evil and creepy!

Kate was awesome.

I would really love a sequel to this movie! :)

I like Kate Hudson and I like a good mystery so I watched this one. I think it is a little slow moving, probably a little longer than it should be, but I still talked and thought about it much the next day so I liked it! Some things were very predictable and others were not predictable at all.

It was very distracting and disturbing to see this film made in Louisiana (mostly New Orleans) and think about the recent devestation there. Many of the buildings and homes in the film are probably damaged or destroyed and some of the people in the background of scenes may not be with us anymore either. I guess I was just really distracted by that. Sorry - I'm a downer!

i liked this movie, i saw it the other night and it was definately not what i expected but that is another reason why i liked it.

I did have to say i liked the culture that came with it... plus the fact that you dont really find a good movie like this type anymore and kate hudson kicks ass

I just saw this the other day. It was definately crazy sort of scary which I like 100 xs more than gorey scary.

I wasn't too sure about this movie at first. I totally changed my mind after watching it!
The ending...one word.....WOW!

Ohmygosh! I absolutely loved this movie! I was kept guessing till the end, which I love. Kate Hudson did a really good job and Peter Sarsgard? Man was he cuuuuute! That accent? :eyebrows:

I liked the movie a lot. I didn't find it that scary, but the ending was very surprising and great.

I watched it. It is more like a mystery. :) So if you like a movie where you kinda follow the leading character around, trying to solve a puzzle by putting pieces together....then this is for you. The scary stuff is not blood and guts or creepy looking ghosts and monsters. It is more like a creepy feeling when either something suddenly happens that was not expected or you keep expecting something to happen because you know there is something wrong with it. For example, in the trailer they talked about the mirrors. But what is it about mirrors? They'd keep the suspense in every time they do a scene that involves the subject of mirrors so you'd be all at the edge of your seat anxious to find out but at the same time, you're scared of what you'd find out. That's the kind of feeling they created from the layout of the story about other things as well. So you keep guessing and guessing and wondering what is the deal with all the weird happenings in the story. :)

Well it's not a horror movie. lol

It's classified as a somewhat thriller. And it worked in that genre.

I really enjoyed it.

It's not scary, but it has its "jumpy" moments I guess.

Is it scary? There have been ads for it all over TV here and it didn't look spooky, but when I saw the full trailer at the cinema today it seemed like it could be pretty freaky.

Anyone else seeing that movie this weekend?

I saw it and LOVED IT!

Kate Hudson is awesome.
