I just watched this rental from blockbuster! I thought it was a fantastic movie! Wowsers :D

Just hated the way it was left on a loose ending... does anyone know if there is a sequel in the pipeline?

I just hate it when a movie is left half done, i hate waiting for a part 2 GRRRR :mad:
 
I love the ending, it is great to have something different. The movie wasn't left half done, the public were just allowed to make up their own mind on how it should end and that isn't a bad thing. I don't think a sequel is being planned and I hope it doesn't have a sequel, that would ruin it.
 
For once this is a film that is not meant to have a sequel (although I won't take bets that there won't be). It's one of those films that you can watch again and realise why the characters are behaving as they do.

I didn't think it was a loose ending at all, but the twist brought the story to a very satisfying, albeit dark and disturbing, conclusion. For a hollywood film it's a very downbeat ending.

However, it's not original; there was an old twilight zone episode that has the same twist, but instead used an ageing actress and a young reporter sent to interview her, and was over in half an hour.
 
Actually having watched it again this morning it doesnt seem to have been left loose on the end. But that carolines frienRAB seems to suggest that their may be a sequel.... :confused:
 
Me and the wife watched The Skeleton Key a couple of weeks ago. We both enjoyed it - especially the lovely twist at the end. A film like this should not have a sequel.
 
I really enjoyed this film and thought the ending finished the film off well.
Really disturbing when you think back to the lynching at the beginning though :(
 
I saw this movie while on the plane to NYC a few weeks ago and thought it was really good. I loved the twist at the end and really don't think it was a loose end at all and really don't think that the movie should have a sequel where would they go with it after all in a way that would make it worth doing? :confused:
