That's true. By now the girls are most known for their television performances. I remember Blake being the only one I had never heard of when the original came out.

I finally got around to seeing the trailer for the second film and I am really looking forward to it.

It will be great to see Amber back on screen again.

We don't have to use spoiler tags anymore, right?

I loved the movie, it was beyond fantastic. I cried at several parts during the movie because I felt like I could seriously relate to these girls. My favorite storyline, just like the first one, was with Lena - she was always my favorite. The ending with her was so incredible for her and Kostos. And that scene at the restaurant where he wishes her to be happy, I seriously teared up so much - it was heartbreaking.

I am also a huge fan of Tibby and Brian, and I wish there was more of them but I loved every minute we got of them. I love Brian so much, I want to hug him.

I wish there was Bee and Eric in the movie though! They were supposed to be together.

I get it. I was upset at first, but I guess that it needed to happen, since they were grown ups and everything.

I'm just excited that my BFF Effie is gonna be in the movie!

OMG yay for pics. Although I'm kinda bummed..I wish they'd make a book for each other instead of mixing but if they wanna jump to the end after covering everything it makes sense..

The Synopsises i have read all seem to point to it following the 4th book but I think in some way cover they the middle 2 because there is a filming pic of graduation which is in book 3. My guess is they open with flashbacks to the middle two books just so everything makes sense and connects.

YouTube - Bridget & Eric Love Story!

I loved the books and i love the movie only the lena kostos story is a bit strange  but whatever i really like Bridget because she really looks like me (inside)

It's sort of ironic that when the first movie came out, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn were in hit shows, and now America Ferrera and Blake Lively are in hit shows.

Of course Joa..of course

[sp]Another thing, now tell me if I'm wrong, but in the books was the ending between Lena/Kostos in the books not quite as solid. Like in the books I felt that as a reader you could kind of interperate their end how you felt it best bit, but it wasn't a sure thing that they were back together, such as in the movie. I never enjoyed them as a couple in the books so I much prefered the way the book ended it between them.

It would have been nice to have a conversation between Effie/Lena to tie up the loose ends.

But I actually loved all of Bee's storyline..minus the no-Eric and that had to be my favorite part. But I just love Bee, and it really showed here coming full circle that making that change (even if you never see Perry, lol)

Carmen and Ian were cute..even if it was totally different then the books.

The only part that I felt they kept the same was with Tibby..and then a tad of Carmen's storyline, though I found myself hating Julia a lot more in the books then on the screen, they needed to make her more bitchy I felt.

And what was up with Lena and Leo not having sex? Stupid Kostos.

I think they should have also had it be more of Carmen leaving her friends out then them leaving Carmen out, in the movie they made it seem that Carmen was the one being left out, yet in the book she was the one who kept distancing herself from her friends.

I mean they even had Carmen in the beginning for the pants ceremony, while in the book it was a huge thing that they hadn't all been together in forever and Carmen wasn't even there for the pants thing.[/sp]

I wish they hadn't made all 3 books into one movie though...because my favorite book, 3, really got shafted and nothing really came out into the movie from it.

I still need to see this movie! I'll have to rent it next time I'm at Blockbuster. I've heard lots of good things about it.

Does anyone know a good site to stream the movie? I was out of the country when the second one came out and I'm really dying to see it.
