Tibby was also my favorite in the sequel. BTW, I hated the sequel. Had it not been for Tibby, I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all. It was boring, predictable, and worse of all, very badly edited (no transitions whatsoever.)

I understand that they crammed 3 books in 1, but that was just terrible.

I'm so disappointed I waited for so long and made it my mission today to go see it. I never really liked Lena and Kostas and I was SO upset at their tacky, forced reunion.
 
Oh me 2, the movie was pretty good but the acting was better. Alexis and Amber were like the only reasons I wanted to watch this movie well actually Alexis was but then I saw amber and she became another reason I would watch the movie again. I loved Ambers characters storyline and I loved Alexis, they were both awesome!
 
Haha, I thought the same thing! The movie will likely make a lot more money because of it. :nod:
 
I went to the SATC movie yesterday and saw the trailer for the second movie - I am really excited for it! It's weird to think how their lives have changed in the time between the first and second movies - amber had a tv show but doesn't now, america didn't and does, blake now has a tv show, and alexis now doesn't...
 
It's good to hear such great things about this movie. I'm actually watching it this weekend with my sister, so I really can't wait!!

I was hoping if someone can help me with the songs played in the promos. I know one of the songs is Michelle Branch...does anyone know what the other song is called?
 
I really loved this movie, especially for Blake/Bee. I can't wait for the second movie!
 
:lol: That's what I figured. If she wasn't in the movie, I'm not sure they'd be able to pull off that ending. Plus, I really liked her in the books. She was so cute, and yup, definitely a good little sister.
 
from what i have read there is going to be a sequel that will start production in june.
however i have heard rumors it will be on the 4th book instead of the 2nd but that is just a rumor as for as i know.

Ah I loved this movie more than the second

[sp] Tibby was my fave character in #2. I love her and Brian. I think they made Effie a lit bit different than in the books but atleast we got her for her most important parts like losing the pants and Brian. I loved Lena's role as well. Although I'm peeved they didn't atleast make it clear she had sex with Leo because I think that had changed and made her grow more and at the end it seemed so definate with Kostos and that wasn't the same. They never had sex did they?

I loved Carmen and acting although wtf Ian? Haha. Bee also grew on me a lot. I was shocked they left Eric out. [/sp]

I got to see the new movie today and I loved it! I think it's much better than the first (and I like the first quite a bit). I can't put my finger on why I like the new one better, but I definitely do.

[sp]I'm very happy there was no Bee/Peter (the professor from the archaeological dig) in the movie. I didn't like that storyline at all. I'm sad there was no Bee/Eric. They were my favorite couple of the books.[/sp]
 
So far it's made $42,832,311.

And there are a few screencaps out, but until it comes out on DVD, I don't think anyone would have specific caps from when you went to get popcorn. If you google SOTTP2 screencaps, you get very little.
