I have had this happen a few times before, but years ago. I simply can't explain it. Here is a picture of what is happening. I put a red box around the image in question.

What does that mean? Why is it so scary-looking? Is it a bug in the game, or is it something I did that triggers that icon to appear instead of the character's face?
Yes, it is incredibly scary! And I've seen it happen before! I hate it!
Jen, that is NOT the character's face. The character is the little boy who wears the pointy hat. That horrifying image is not that little boy. I've seen that image appear on other characters in the past - even adults. There doesn't seem to be a reason for that picture to appear.
Not to mention the black background - rather than the blue one that every other character in the game gets.
Is it supposed to represent that this is a demon child or something?
I don't do any hacking, and I did not use any cheats on this family. I sometimes use the rosebud cheat to create money in other families, but I didn't do it for this one.
