A new episode airs tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

*eye starts twitching*

I think we all knew that it wouldn't be long before we got another 'Homer & Marge seperate' plot, which is most likely what this will turn into.

Who wants to bet that this episode ignores the episode where Millhouse's parents get divorced? You know, the one where Homer divorces Marge so they can remarry and start their marriage with a clean slate?

They'll find out the marriage isn't legal in the most absurd way possible, no doubt.

Like, Bart & Lisa will start a lemonade stand, but get bored with it and somehow trick Homer into taking over when he's supposed to be at work. While making the lemonade, Homer creates a *new* flavor of lemonade that inadvertantly ends up triggering an allergic reaction in one of the secondary characters. Wiggum arrests Homer for attempted manslaughter and takes him to jail, where he meets the priest who married him and Marge. End first act.

Act II, Homer takes the priest home to stay with the family, they bond. Priest and Rev. Lovejoy get into a Kill Bill parody that takes up a good chunk of act II. It's revealed the priest if a fraud and the marriage is invalid. End act II.

Act III, Homer and Marge fight, priest mysteriously vanishes with no explanation or worry from the other characters. Homer gets kicked out. End Act III.

Actv IV, Homer comes back, they make up, and they cram the wedding into the last two minutes of the show.

Comcast says that everything that Lovejoy has done since the second marriage has been invalid due to his clergy status being revoked or something, so they take that into consideration.

At this point my guess is they have this big list hanging on the wall in the writer's room that itemizes all the different ways Homer and Marge could have marriage troubles. It's alongside a list of all the minor characters who have moved in with the Simpsons and all the countries the family has visited.

This show chugs along while King of the Hill is ending this year. Such injustice.

Can I ask why this problem can't be solved by an immediate quick fix?

Or is asking for logic out of the question?

Found Homer's "the pizza place screwed up again" line funny though.

Haha, I like the Bing Crosby-like minister. Did he say he was from Michigan City, IN? Like 10 min. away from me, man.

And I can already tell where this plot is headed...and it ain't clever.

Funny how the animation is so stiff that Homer can longer quickly lunge at Bart to strangle him. The weird fear of going off model the animators have means that Homer now slowly reaches toward Bart and carefully places his fingers around his neck.

The King Kong vs Godzilla scene was gold though.

I don't understand why Homer and Marge are going over the top. Why don't they just hire another minster and just redo the house marriage?
