wow i saw the movie yesterday and I was very unimpressed. I went in without any expectations because some other people wanted to go see it and i didn't really care and it really did not impress me at all... i chuckled maybe 3 times during the whole movie... people were dying with laughter around us and I was just like

i enjoyed the movie. the jokes were smart, modern and a reprieve from the episodes

I enjoyed it, it might not have been a laugh riot all the way through, but then if you have ever seen a film like that you know how much it can hurt your ribs to laugh continuesly for 90 minutes or so.

My only dissapointment was that there wasnt more interaction with the townspeople.

i haven't even watched the show in a couple years...just haven't been a fan of it...but the movie was suprisingly funny... imo i think matt groening should stick to busting out a movie once every couple years and just quit the tv business
