The Simpsons Movie Thread

Pretty hopeless movie I'd say - just one big simpsons ep - the jokes were very stale/old.

Homer was funny tho - I think the fact that I've watched a lot of family guy + transformers was just toooo good, meant that simpson's wasn't special enough.

Good movie. It was funny, although it just didn't feel as special as it should have. And no Scorpio ftl. Did catch a glimpse of Laura Powers though

Meh at best. Really didn't keep my attention very well. It was just a long episode with a not very good attempt to create some emotional dialog between Bart and Homer.

damn it I stayed through the part where they were sitting there MST3K style watching the credits, but my wife had to pee There was stuff AFTER the credits?

I'm not sure what people are complaining about when they say "it's just an hour and a half long episode".

What exactly did you expect? And stupid plot? Perhaps you people haven't seen older episodes where Mr. Burns blocks the sun, or Homer is actually the leader of a secret society.

Newsflash, simpsons has never been about plot. The movie had the best simpsons writing in years. I loved it.

the movie exceeded my expectations. Great dialogue, kept me entertained throughout. I can't stand the newer simpsons episodes, but I've been a die-hard fan since the beginning. I am so happy they pulled it off
