The Simpsons - "MoneyBART" - Talkback [10/10]

Not since Bart and Lisa were on the hockey team together many moons ago.

I'm glad they referenced the radiation poisoning.

"It gave me super management powers." Lol.

Next episode will be the annual Treehouse of Horror special. One of the subplots is a Twilight spoof featuring Lisa falling in love with a vampire voiced by Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe.

We'll also be getting an episode in November titled "Lisa Simpson, This Isn't Your Life" that preceded Elementary School Musical in production.

So yes, there will be plenty more Lisa goodness for you soon.

For the lhree most recent episodes and "Lisa Simpson, This Isn't Your Life": these are holdovers from the previous season (I take it the Simpsons writers were on a Lisa binge when planning the last batch of MABF episodes).

For the THOH story focusing on Lisa: Obviously, the Simpsons writers are trying to capitalize on the success of the Twilight films here.

Another Lisa stinker, but there was a couple of gags I enjoyed. Namely Ralph getting juiced, Maggie's fencing skill,s and the Homer at the Bat reference.

Oh yeah, and the team chanting "Conflicted! Conflicted!" and "Resolved! Resolved!"

When the NABF## episodes come Lisa will be very absent and brief I hope and is there going to be an MABF22 or did they only produce 21 MABF episodes?

I was creeped out by the opening sequence, so if that was this Bansky's intention... he did a good job.

So being a good baseball manager means you have to be a nerd? Maybe so, but I think Bart taught Lisa the ultimate lesson... that you can't rely on statistics and calculations all the time and have to take a chance once in awhile. It failed in the Capital City game, but hey, that's what you risk taking chances. And it's a good risk.

Also, loved Ralph getting too juiced and Mike Scioscia returning and getting a callback ('radiation poisoning'). Enjoyable episode overall.

Saw it. It was good, I enjoyed it. Not as good as Loan-a Lisa, but better then "Musical". Some highlights:

*The couch gag, which weas pretty depressing
*Burns' calculator
*Underpants dinner!
*Maggie beating Lisa at fencing
*Moe getting annoyed by geniuses
*Do alligators alligate? IDK, yes. I'M SCARED!
*Raplh juiced
*Wacky faces!
*CONFLICT RESOLVED! CONFLICT RESOLVED!

So overall, an 8.5 more or less...I CAUGHT A WHITE APPLE!
