Perhaps because Elizabeth was probablty under the shawdows of Bette Midler, Johnny Carson, Luke Perry, Barry White, and the band Red Hot Chili Peppers who also appeared in this episode.
 
Homer (to Bart): "Got your nose".
Bart (takes Homer's keys): "Got your keys".
Bart flushes the keys down the toilet.

:lol: I love this episode. I wish the new episodes were as good and funny as this one... :shrug:
 
That is most likely the reason, the Simpsons preferred a Liz Taylor moment that's a milestone to the show's run rather than one that takes place in an episode filled with celebrity appearances.
