A new episode airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

Marge in Treehouse of Horror XVI "hmmmm. He still thinks that hobo was a bird."

Looked it up. "Bart the mother" season 10. That's when he killed a bird without wanting to.

Well, that episode was kind of interesting. Nice to finally see a plot mostly centered around Bart. Also nice to see an Itchy and Scratchy show that for once doesn't end bad for Scratchy. You have to admit, that ending was both suspenseful and comedic.

This episode had some great humor and it also had a lot of time wasting moments.

- Stop with the mini-episode couch gags. Bleh!
- Homer reading the blotch test cards.

+ The ending was hillarious.
+ Moe confessing about the bird racing being a scam.

Overall: C+

I personally liked when the boys sang "Put on a Happy Face" at the pigeon's funeral.

Bart: Thanks, that song made me feel a little better.
Martin: It's from "Bye Bye Birdie"!
Bart: (Runs off Sobbing)

Hilarious episode. My 4th favourite of the season so far, behind Lisa Simpson, This Isn't Your Life, Loan-a Lisa and Fool Monty in that order. It had plenty of good jokes and heart (until the ostrich farm seen, which was funny in the beginning, but got a little disturbing). some jokes include the first cage breaking and the chicken wire packing, the line "Why don't you support my gibberish? I would support yours if you were stupid", Bart strangling the ostrich and Homer cheering, the ostrich strangling Homer at the end, Milhouse thinking Bart's racecar was a Transformer, Burns dancing naked, Marge's fear of possums, Chalmers doing Krabbapel, Moe trying to scam Homer, The NASCAR racer fighintg Marge in the bubble and SLH eating Ray twice.

This episode was pretty good. I was kind of sad when Santa's Little Helper ate the pigeon twice. Bart strangling the Ostrich was funny and then Homer getting strangled by the Ostrich on the way home was good too. It was surprising that Lisa hates a living thing.

I actually laughed more at this episode than I have at the rest of the season to date. Even with out a clear B-plot, this would've fit nicely in a classic run of the Simpsons.

Although I agree with a lot of you that there were some good jokes in this episode, I was mostly disturbed by it. Particularly the ending with the message "sometimes it's okay to kill birds" and having Bart seemingly strangle an ostrich to death.

They should do them a little less often, yeah. I thought this one should've gone on a little longer, actually.

This one was OK....Homer got some funny scenes/lines....I loved his fantasy involving Danica Patrick and Marge (where they're beating him up,and he says he secretly enjoys that),as well as the scene in Principal Skinner's office...

Homer: We can't make him (Skinner) angry,he pays Bart's salary!

Marge: No he doesn't!

Homer:....Why don't you support my gibberish?...I would support yours if YOU were stupid!

This would've been great if the idea hadn't been already used. Like the season 19 episode 'Apocalypse Cow', where Bart took care of a cow and saved it from slaughter. Technically it's not the exact same plot, but has a similar concept.
But nonetheless, I don't consider this episode horrible. I'm just happy that this episode wasn't all about Lisa. There's nothing wrong about her, it's just that in almost every episode of this season, she was the central character.
Favorite part: Burns dancing naked and Smithers joining him. That really made my day.
Overall, I'd give this episode an 8 out of 10.
