The Simpsons episode "Stark Raving Dad" airs tonight on FOX

I recall you being mad at Marge's eyes when she was at the cash register once the show switched to digital. "Cyborg Frieza" got freaked out after looking at the eyes of Trunks.

I forgot about the story with Prince. I think it was a good idea that the episode wasn't made. It would have started the "too many celebs" complaints much sooner than haters complain about now.

While they are at it: I would love for them to reair these episodes, though unnecessary because I have them on DVD.

"Moaning Lisa" - I was talking about this episode yesterday. I love the whole anti Care Bear message of not repressing negative feelings, "In your face Care Bears", and Homer's video game obcession, and how funny he stood out being the only adult in an arcade. Who wouldn't think he was some sort of child pervert? I loved the part when the kids mom yelled at Homer.

"There Is No Disgraise Like Homer" - a different Homer than we know now, as he cared about his families image. Had a hillarous scene when the family asked Homer to enter the car and he dreamed they were screaming "One of us, one of us", and the electricuting at the end.

"Bart The Daredevil" - maybe the greatest episode ever. Homer jumping off a cliff, and the comment at the end of you don't know danger unless you have kids.

It was on my guide, too (Time Warner Cable), and it was definitely on tonight.

Loved the "Happy Birthday Lisa" song and the "Poor House/Crazy House" gag (I heard it on one of those audio Father's Day cards.)

A great episode from a time when The Simpsons was...THE SIMPSONS!

A classic. Fox 'round here airs an episode a night - and they've been showing a lot of classics lately, actually. I still enjoy the Simpsons nowadays, but when you put it next to a classic like this, the difference becomes really obvious.

But, yeah, great episode and a sweet tribute.

One thing that I have wondered: If they couldn't list Michael Jackson (and also Dustin Hoffman in Lisa's Substitute) by his real name in the credits, then why'd they need to list him by a made-up name? Couldn't he have jus tgone uncredited, since the credits don't list who played who anyway.
