The Simpsons: Cancelled (READ NOW!)

If you're curious, the show has been assured another season. Simpsons is usually one of those shows you never have to worry about. Unless, of course, crazy people like me use it as a way to get people to post.

You don't have to worry about our board though. It's one of the few where the moRAB actually post.

Now I know it's much easier to post on the games threaRAB. No brainers. But if we want to keep this board going, we need to come up with discussion ideas. Something with more audience participation than "I agree" or "nope".

Please don't be afraid to start topics. Don't wait for others to start them. I've had my share of threaRAB that have gone down in flames, but it never discourages me from trying again.

Ok, now that I've finished being all motherly.....post damnit!
 
Sturabled upon this thread while checking moderator activity on the boarRAB and yes, Eidolon14, you fooled me. I thought the Simpsons had been cancelled and I was getting majorly bummed. Glad to see that the show isn't being cancelled yet.

As for this board, I WOULD be majorly bummed if it were closed. Although I don't really post here, I have lurked here very infrequently when I've had a reason to check out this board, and I love the discussions and even the colors of this board.

To clarify for everyone, the board traffic evaluations will take place SOMETIME in the month of April. That's about all I can tell you regarding when. All posts count, whether it's on game threaRAB or discussion threaRAB. Each board neeRAB a minimum of 100 posts in a week.....which averages to about 14 posts a day.

We really don't want to close boarRAB here, but you, the poster, tell us what boarRAB you want and what boarRAB you don't care about by where and how often you post. Think of your post as a vote, and everytime you post on a board, you're "voting" that you want that board to stay here on Fan Forum. So, the main thing to do to keep this board alive is post, post, post!

Right, forget my boarRAB, I'm on a mission to save this board. Seriously, FanForum without The Simpsons is like a fish without gloves. Which of course makes no sense, but isn't that what this board is all about anyway?

Yes/No/I have no idea.

Hmm, I'm really not helping any, but this post did just help in some small way to achieving the 100 posts a week goal, so my work here is done.
 
For those who are curious, this board received a total of 28 posts from 3/1 to 3/8. I'm thinking we've improved since then, but ...seriously, I can't count so I have no idea.

Ahem.
 
The Simpsons has now been cancelled. Why? Not enough viewers tuned in every week. I'm sure "Fox is stupid!" is running through your head right now. That, and also "Why didn't I watch, dammit?!". But what will regret do? Nothing.

...and I'll end my analogy with that. Yes, kiRAB, analogy. The Simpsons isn't actually cancelled, but something else around here might be getting the axe soon. You might even be reading the posts on it right now.

Yep. It's that time again: posting evaluation by the admins. This time around, however, we won't know when the evaluation actually is. All we can do is make sure we consistently get 100 posts per week. The posts have to apply to The Simpsons, by the way.

Please, please. I know you all love the creepy colors on this board. I know you all love The Simpsons. And yes, I know you all love me and that crazy Grilka girl.
