Here's the synopsis for this episode:

Why is the AV cage in Skinner's office?

Lisa's little back and forth with Skinner was actually kinda cute, especially the smartypants answer thing.

Otherwise...:sad::(:crying:

I want to go on The Simpsons Ride this summer. Orlando, here I come.

And it's true, Shia LeBeouf is not quite a nerd and not quite a hunk.

This episode is really something else. I'm not sure what that something else is, but whatever it is, it's not funny nor clever. Do they even try with this show anymore, or does everyone just sleepwalk through the production process?

"No more Simpsons movies. One was plenty!"

Cute. Really cute. Maybe it would have been funnier if Marge's dialogue and delivery didn't make me cringe as often as it does.

One thing that bothers me about any show's 'movie episode' (such as Family Guy's episode Chick Cancer with the Steel Vaginas film) is that the actual film any character creates runs maybe 30 seconds long. You'd think there would be something a little more... substantial to it. Now Nelson's movie, that was a neat scene.

Another thing that bothered me:
"This can't be real!"
"It isn't, you've crashed and now you're lying unconscious in a snow bank."

That's a joke that could have just worked by ending with 'it isn't'.

I thought some of the jokes were a little too obvious or set up a bit too much, but I did enjoy the episode itself and the themes that it used. Regardless of that, I did laugh quite a few times. The cameos by celebrity voices were used very well (comparing it to Marge Gamer's cameo with the soccer celeb which wasn't a very good use at all), instead of just using them as one-joke ponies.

Also neat - Lisa's and Skinner's exchanges and the fact that the episode didn't waste it's first act on something that doesn't connect with anything else.

I actually giggled quite a bit through it even though the story was something that seemed out of the Simpson Comics..

And Homers cut away gag was great and proved that their cutaways when they do it are always much better than say a FG one.

I thought it was pretty good, though I liked Lisa's lines the best... Which is different.

Also I really enjoyed the Skinner/Chalmers moments, especially the part on the sled. :D

This episode was pretty Meh, kind of forgetful though Marge's line near the end did make me chuckle a little. Good to see some Skinner and Chalmers interaction again though.

We have a new record for Most Obscure Special Guest Star! How will they possibly top this one? One can only guess....

"Hey, Bart!"
"WOW, it's Toon Zone moderator Speedy Boris!"
