Aww, I was betting myself that soemone would've already posted about the Beavis and Butt-head reference.
Bart being too young to know who B and B-H are...oh, the irony...you KNOW the writers are deliberately taunting the hardcore, continuity-obsessed fans!
Addendum: I guess at this point, they've done this kind of things so many times over, it's not so much of a scandal anymore.
Noticed that, too. Looks like the Simpsons staff are huge fans of Pixar (and no surprise, as a couple of their films were done by Simpsons alum Brad Bird).
Of course, that was probably done because most people will not get the main joke when it comes to how the episode title relates to the episode itself (basically, the "Nice Dream" is a reference to the third Cheech and Chong film, Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams).
Great episode, that drug induced halucination Homer was having was amusing, and I loved how much focus the crazy cat lady got. I figured she was a hoarder considering her mental state, but it was nice to see her regain her sanity temporarily. But I'm a little disappointed when she reverted back to her status quo, but it looks like her craziness and cats is what sets her apart from the all the other generic old women on this show voiced by Tress Macneille.
Funny episode. Even though I don't now who C&C are, I enjoyed the 3 plots, but I'd like more space for Skinner & Chong. I Love Cat Lady so I really enjoyed her little plot. Most of the jokes were hit, like moe filming Marge, Homer's daydream, Ralph's stand-up & Cat Lady's powers on summoning cats.
This episode could have been better. I think Marge and hoarding should have been the episode focus. I liked when Homer smoked a piece of asbestos. I kind of figured Crazy Cat Lady was a hoarder. The Cheech and Chong parts weren't too spectacular. The hulu.com reference and an appearance of Lots-O-Huggin' Bear were my favorite parts.
