The Secret Millionaire

I was surprised he gave so little away compared to some of the other millionaires in previous series. Considering he is supposed to be worth 20 million, the amounts seemed rather derisory.

I do have to say though what a nice chap he was and was genuinely upset by some things he witnessed and, apart from that, 'something is better than nothing'.

I remember one millionaire from the first series where he gave away vast sums, e.g

Me and my friend reckon her husband must have supported her into the property buisness as he was at first the breadwinner so maybe he could afford to do this. Thus resulting in her windfall.

Once or twice it is a decent amount but I have to laugh at some gifts.

"I haven't been exactly honest with you. what you don't know is that I am actually a milionaire and I would like to give you

This weeks episode is really good, I like this guy.

I really feel for the 21 year old, he seems really sweet. :( And the bloke that said he's been living on the streets since the 60s- I thought that was terribly sad.

I think he meant depression when he said brick wall, maybe I'm wrong.

I didn't watch this most recent programme, but I think I'm right in saying that the secret millionaires use their own names when they are 'under cover' so it would be very easy to 'google' them and find out that they are millionaires. Surely a stranger turning up with a film crew would make a lot of people curious enough to check them out online.

What a night watching that, it is always a bit of a tear jerker but tonight we start to finish really.
Sophie is not alone there is a lot of kiRAB who are carers and have no social life/childhood whatsoever.

I worked in a nursing home and about 12yrs ago we had a woman with ms was in with bed sores and her behind was in an awful mess at home she was intitaled to a carer helping to get her up in the morning and one to put her to bed the rest of the day was down to her 13yr old daughter who also looked after the younger daughter of 8yrs old when the lady came into us the girls went into foster care but you could see that her eldest enjoyed the new found freedom she used to be really rude to her mum obviously resenting spending so much time indoors etc, but while she was with us, she gave her cuddles and was very affectionate. It was lovely to see, the lady evenutally took the very very brave decision to put both girls into full time care to give them a better childhood, very sad but she knew it was best for them.
She left us after 4months and I havent heard from her since but I am sure those girls will remember how much their mum loved them.

As for Wee Lewis he was adorable and really touched my heart :( poor darling I hope he gets to usa and gets treatment which will help his recovery xx

The government are far to busy wasting our money to the tune of hundreRAB of million of pounRAB on thousanRAB of computer schemes that either over-run by years or which get cancelled half-way through, to say nothing of the
