sure how I feel about this.

On one hand I feel that state workers are way overpaid for the kind of work that they do, I think they're a lazy depressing bunch that do half ass work because it's almost impossible to get fired from a government job unless you're a complete retard. Nrabroad
only that but their benefits are fucking ridiculous. I believe there needs to be mass change in the pay scale for government workers, along with their benefits. Especially in a time like this when the state is hurting for money, something needs to be done. They are overpaid and under worked.

her hand, I think it's unfair to say to somebody that's pulling in $40,000 a year that they will have to take a pay cut to minimum wage and expect them to be able to work around their living budget that they have created around their expected salary, it's kind of unrealistic.

Government employees should be treated the same as private sector employees. No judge should be dictating people's compensation.
 
HA, we have come to agreement on something.

If you want to see a prime example of the government overpaying it's employee's, look no further than the postal worker. Man those fuckers really rake in the dollars for what, walking around all day and stuffing mail into mailboxes . Those fuckers laugh their way to the bank every pay day.
 
California gets 78 cents spent for every dollar of federal tax so maybe the federal government should give them more money
 
State workers are people too, they have homes and families they need to pay for. I can't imagine doing that on minimum wage.

State workers shouldn't be punished for the ineptness of the state assembly.
