the role of the judges in israel?

I have the info I need for the role of the judges. But i need the work of the judges in light of the historical situation. also I need the challenges the nation faces. the way judges address the problems. and the success and failure in problem solving.


I have look and read through all the materials and still confused on each section. If anyone can help or have any ideas or websites that may be able to help me with each topic, I would love for the advice. thanks
 
Is this a life long project or do you plan to be finished by the time you get your Phd?
