"Wow, what an excellent sounding film" i thought... This year we've had quite a few decent scary films, and this one does have it moments... but the film just got more confusing as it went on. Plenty of dark and scary scenarios though to get you on edge, waiting for the jump!

I did like it for most part, but there were so many questions unanswered at the end. When someone sees this, can they please explain the ending to me :)

I've got the original japanese copy of 'Ring' (1998) and thought it was an excellent film so this remake should be good.

I can't comment on the end of the remake yet as I haven't seen it but if it is anything like the original film, then its ending is tells you that the only way to survive the disturbing video is to copy it asap and pass it on to someone else to watch. Thus passing the curse from you to the next 'victim'.

Any idea when it is released over here?

Don't hold your breath, its meant to be much worse than the original!

follow the imdb link for all the information about films u could ever need... i lvoe that site. Every film has certain pages for categories, follow the 'Release Dates' link for global release information.

How many remakes have you seen?:D

Seen the japanese version. Was a bit disapointed, to be honest. Still quite good, but not quite the classic that Mark Kermode built it up to be.

How true you were. I've just finished watching it, (from #TMD-Movies/Kazaa), and was very disappointed. The original had a much better atmosphere to it, and was more engrossing.

Oh, and Dave the 2002 version is the only remake, hence I was wondering if 'this remake' would be better than the original. :D

Yeti.
