The ring and tred test to see if boy or girl?

Hi have heard a few people talking about this and if you hold a piece of tred through your wedding ring and hold it over your belly if it goes round its supposed to mean girl and if it goes straight means boy well mine is going round anyone else do this I know are few people that have done this and if was right on them, also I done the chinease calander and it says girl too and also the bpm is 162 and im 13.5 weeks pregnant
