The Restaurant 2009

Apparantly they dont get their restaurants until episode 3!! So we've only got 5 episodes with them actually working and being eliminated, well 4 really as you cant count the finale.

I dont think this series is going to be a patch on previous ones. I wonder why they changed the format so much. The 2nd night with the shallange and the restaurant closure was ideal.
 
I'm certain that RB, David and Sarah wouldn't have put their own capital into a business run by utter muppets - and there is obviously nothing wrong with investing in a business concept that you think has potential.

What I strongly object to though is dragging us all along through the farce of a competition whereby the weekly challenges and outcomes were seemingly irrelevant to the final decision. I can see why Chris, Nathan and the other couples weren't an attractive proposition as business partners - but you can't shoehorn a contrived load of old guff into a popular programme format and expect the viewers to feel like they weren't being totally patronised. Piss poor.

Agreed, it just so wouldn't happen. I bet the total years experience between the usual sushi chefs is huge too. They can throw it out at speed...why? Cause they've been doing it for years lol
 
So let's get this straight - Client ordered risotto and got rice pudding, ordered souffle and got a cocktail - how can you reward a performance like that!:mad:
