The Restaurant 2009

They are definately business partners in their own cocktail bar in Leicester Square. It is a fantastic place and extremely popular by all accounts. Their cocktails are out of this world ;)

I haven't found anything written by RB exept "excuses" in response to public indignation at the result. How can that replace the support the BBC gave the first two series?

Okay, well first of all

How the ... did the winkers make the final? And at the expense of Stephen and Rebecca! Yes, I understand they may be good business men, etc, but, as has been said by many, many people on this thread JJ can not cook! Raymond even needed to show him how to cut a pepper properly. Stephen's cooking was improving leaps and bpounRAB and for all the tears Rebcecca was turning into a very effective front of house. It seems unbelievably harsh that his nerves over given a cooking demo to 100 people with just a few hours notice should be punished so harshly. I hate giving a presentation at work to 20 people, and thats with a couple of weeks notice and when I know exactly what it is I want to say and how I'm going to say it.

JJ is growing on me as a person but James I wouldn't trust as far as I could pick him up and throw him, why on earth would any of Raymond etc, want to go in business with a pair of blaggers as they were labled I really do not know.

As for Chris and Nathan, I do hope that Chris does well out of this but despite his improvements this week I would never trust Nathan in front of house

And over on ITV at the very same time Hugh long-winded-poncy-surname was shooting, skinning, boiling loaRAB of rabbits for many dishes at River Cottage.

So tonight there has been so much rabbit culling that they are now an endangered species!

Shame as the first two series were really good.
I'm sure the main problem was the contestant selection for series three - the producers really wanted to numpty it up for maximum cringe factor. They forgot that someone would still have to be a credible winner though...

Rebecca blew it, she should have bigged Stephen up, told him to go all out for it, instead she just agrees he should give up.

Raymond did to Steve what Rebecca should have done.

I wouldn't go that far....

I think we will see a different side to a lot of the teams now they are in their own resturatns cooking their own menus tbh. We may (or may not) find some of the weaker teams do rather better when they are in their comfort zone.:)
