Their whole concept was totally weird - all based around the "chef's" obsession with her mother who in turn seemed .....erm....unwilling to let go of her youth, shall we say! Strange couple.

I wonder if the producers were unhappy that Blanc pulled the plug on those two without getting further comedy mileage out of them!

It IS a bit strange that nothing is being written in any of the papers (apart from on all the websites/blogs etc.)....

You would have thought that RB COULD have taken the opportunity to write a column in one of them, defending his decision and the explanation behind it (although maybe he CAN'T defend it and is struggling with the wording!!)
