Love this thread - though I may be in a minority of one in that for me the Winkers are the stars. :cool::o

I think the point about them is that Raymond is actually intrigued/interested in their concept - as a commercial proposition, whereas the more likeable and occasionally competent others are "livin' their dream" :yawn:

A year down the road, I could actually see "The Summer House" open for business - of course JJ would long since been evicted from the kitchen to his assigned role in life as cocktail mixer in chief.

I'm sure a lot of people would go there .... once.
 
Married Twins to win based on what's gone so far. Chris could do it if he ditched Nathan, and got someone who's better with people, like maybe a serial killer.

I do like the Nigerian restaurant though.

Because they put the food in a cocktail glass their concept involved cocktails? Do me a favour.

Yes, it may not ultimately have made much difference if the winkers had already been chosen, but David was mortally offended that Nathan asked a customer in David's restaurant what she had ordered when serving one of the courses. That's a cardinal sin in that type of establishment. Nathan's a numpty.

But of course the winkers committed many cardinal sins and got away with it every time, so as other posters have said, it seems more than a little fishy.
 
Hmm, Daisy and Nadine for the final bit, pretty sure they're not restaurant of the week. Really has to be the twins I think.

Not liking the look of this Barney and Badger court-martial. Is this going to be a dishonourable discharge? Yep.. they bottled it. Raymond's French, so he understanRAB it.

I always wonder however if during an attack and they need extra men if the army chefs have put down their pots and go and help out. A bit like they do in supermarkets when they get a rush on.
