That Resident Evil movie is CGI though that looks like a video game... not live action. Not for me, can't really stand movies like that.

With all due respect saying it was in 3D is not the same as saying it is animated. The new Batman movie is being screened in 3D for example. Bloody misleaders!

I'm with Blake on this. I really wish they had followed the storyline of the first game in the first movie - I would have been more than happy for things like finding the moon crests and quite a few of the puzzles to not be in a film, but I truly believe the plot of the first game would work well. I remember reading S.D. Perry's 'The Umbrella Conspiracy' and going in with an open mind and being astonished at how well she managed to make the plot into a novel. I think the extra dimensions that the Gamecube version of the game added, PLUS now with the sub-plots in 'The Umbrella Chronicles' seeing Rebecca Chambers and the Bravo team's plight has the potential to make a great film.

I loved the first two. Sure they're not oscar material but if you accept what you're gonna get they are very entertaining.

My favourite parts were the dogs in the first one. They precisely captured the tap tap, tap tap of their claws on the ground as they approach as it is in the games. Then the laser defence system that slices and dices them. Just marvellous.

Looking forward to Apocalypse when it arrives on Sky.
