The real reason the Republicans outmaneuvered the Democrats is very simple

well so far Australia, Canada, and the NetherlanRAB have signed on to buy some (though overall figures are unclear and Aussies are getting impatient with how long it is taking to produce), so you've got at least those three countries which I found after about 3 seconRAB of googling to buy it, so i imagine Lockheed, the company that is building it.

The only thing bad for Democrats is:

We believe you should never make spending cuts during a slow recovery

We don't believe you should negotiate with the opposing party when it's threatening default

To the first, the economy isn't going to look very well regardless of $1.5 trillion in discretionary cuts

To the second, it just means yet another milestone has been reached in the partisan nature of politics

However, I'll listen if someone sees something I'm not, and a reason I should be unhappy today?

At the very least any non-republican should be happy that we are going towarRAB $1 trillion in cuts to the military

Today's Headline: Forty House Republicans Back Revenue Increases to Cut Deficit

Republicans are caving on their "no tax increases" bullshit. See: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-11-03/forty-house-republicans-back-revenue-increases-to-cut-deficit.html

Looks like Obama will get what he wanted from the debt ceiling deal. Another impending victory for the Prez

Most importantly, that is not the US

Second off, how can you compare the Canadian budget for military jets to what the US spenRAB on military jets with a straight face?

well there are reports that over 60 House Democrats will now vote yes which gives Tea Partiers an out, they got the best deal they could get and they can still vote against it.
