Watched this film for the first time in years the other evening and thorougly enjoyed it, a bit corny but hell its John Wayne, the fight scenes were marvellous as were the horse racing scenes.. the lovelyist part of all was when Maureen Ohara leaves after lighting the fire in the old cottage for the tall American visitor and its very stormy, she runs through a burn or brook the wind catching her clothes and hair, wonderful scene.. will have to watch it again..

Ray wasnt the music haunting.. think Ill watch it again later on..
Ray when I watched this very young I only saw the basic story, the fight scenes and the horse and cart, nothing else , until a few weeks ago when I watched it once, more and wasnt disappointed, if younger ones on here havent seen the movie , take a wee look, you ll be surprised , lovely film.
