The Producers

I saw this a few weeks ago and loved it. I'm a fan of the original and the stage show so was pleased that they didn't mess around with it too much. Not sure about Will Ferrell and Uma Thurman though..they were okay but not brilliant. Nathan Lane was superb (as always). Nice to Jay from the US version of Queer Eye making a cameo - good to see him getting to exercise his Broadway skills again.
 
I'm going to see it tomorrow. Seems to me that a lot of people who liked the stage show liked the film (I've seen it 3 times in the West End so I should be okay!), but people who were only comparing it to the original film were disappointed.
 
I was brought up loving the original film, and have seen the show in the West End, so I'm a huge fan of all things Producers, and went to see the new film as soon as it came out.

I loved it!
My mum who also went to see it said you have to be a really big Producers fan to enjoy it but I disagree.

I really reccomend it, It's brilliant :)
 
I dragged my husband to see it and even he enjoyed (he doesn't 'do' musicals lol).

Having never seen the orignal or the play, i have nothing to compare it to, but i thought it was amazing. I didn't get bored and was tapping away to the music, so it did something right ;)

Would love to see the play, but apparently it's hard to get tickets :(
