the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.

I recently got an ARCHOS 7 home tablet with Android 2.1.
I did some simple game downloads from the AppLib (angry bird, etc.) and now I receive the meesage "the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." it includes one button of "Force close". I can't do anything! this message comes back immediately after I click this button. I even tried pressing the hidden "reset" button, but the nothing changed.
please help!!
 
I've got the same problem on a galaxy tab, its rooted so I cant take it back, hope someone can help as my tab is now unusable as it gives me the message and then goes to a blank screen.

Any suggestions would be great, already tried resetting it (hard reset), reloading all apps from titanium backup etc etc and nothing stops it
