yep, I've got the book right there. This is one time when I feel the book and movie are equally great. of course, the screenplay was written by the author of the book. It's just one of those movies you can watch over and over again and still love it. You can watch it in just about any mood. hmm. it's 4am. maybe I should go to bed.
 
I have. I love both equally (which is usually very rare).

PS. Cary Elwes is in Ella Enchanted!

Have any of you read the book? The book has so much more than the movie. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but it's even better when you read the book.

(2) You mentioned Labyrinth
(3) You love The Princess Bride

Anybody who has seen and liked those films, along with The Neverending Story and The Dark Crystal, I plan to worship. There's no getting around it.

this film! It's one of my alltime favourites. I first watched it with my family years ago and since then I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it. I used to watch it once a week at one point

The story combines so many different elements and has the most fantastic cast of characters I've ever seen. I still cry at the end when Wesley and Buttercup finally ride off together

I've read the book! They're both excellent and equally hilarious. I can't decide which I love better--the book or the movie.

Oh wow! This has to be one of the best films ever! I've seen it so many times!

Along with others like Willow and Labrynth it was one of those films you watched when you were wee all the time, and had memorised the whole thing before you were eight! Magic.

Oh i love The Princess Bride!! Every time I am sick I watch that movie, just like the sick boy in the beginning was listening to the story. I been doing that since I was really little, i just think that is just the coolest thing to do when you dont feel good.
I was sooo happy that i finally got the movie on DVD, since my VHS copy was dying.
