I was just wondering but does anyone notice that Wesley acts and looks alot like Errol Flynn in this movie?? I love Errol Flynn "swashbuckling" movies..., so Wesley swordfighting makes this movie even more wonderful.
(1) You agree with me
(2) You spelled Labyrinth, which I tried to do for about twenty minutes before I eventually just posted any old way. And yes, the correct way was one of the ways I tried that didn't quite look right.
I love this movie - but much more for the humor than the romance.
The romance was kind of silly.
However, every time Peter Falk turns around to his grandson and says, "As you wish," I choke up. My grampa was like that! And that's the way grandfather's should be.
Plus, I really, REALLY love saying, "Hello. My name is Innigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die," just because.
See, that's just wrong. when I find a person who hasn't seen this movie I bring them home with me to watch it. By the end they're quoting it. it's just that good.
Great there are other people that understand how wonderful this movie is! This and The Neverending story were my favorites when I was younger. Watched them over and over. I also love the book, I read the book a couple of years ago and loved it too.
This has got to be one of my favourite movies ever!
And erm, I had the biggest crush on Cary Elwes.
The icons are gorgeous. The end of this movie is perfect, when Wesley and Buttercup ride off together. And I always laugh during the wine-switching insident, I find it amusing.
