Valerie: Think it'll work?

You should see it soon

I saw it for the first time at a sleepover party for a girl that went to my school. It was one of the rare times I was glad to go to one of those

That is too funny. I like saying that, too. You know, it just needs to be said every now and then

I love this movie. I just ordered it on DVD a couple days ago so I should have it by next week. I have it on VHS as well, but don't have a VCR right now. And I can watch this movie over and over again, so I just had to get it. For the longest time I used Princess Buttercup as my screen name and for all my email addresses.

Cary Elwes has come a long way since this movie. I watched him in "Saw" last night. Everytime I see him, I think of Wesley. Her farmboy.

I love the book too. I need to buy it. I've only read it a couple times.

Love this movie. I used to watch it a lot with my family as a kid.

We watched it in high school once. My teacher asked for a show of hands of who's seen it. Only me and another person raised their hands. Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked.

And a couple Christmases ago, I got the book. Well, the 'Good Parts' version or whatever. It's fantastic.

Here are a few old avies I have from the movie:

Maybe one of these days I'll get better ones made. These were some of my first batch ever.

I just watched the flick again last night...all I wanted to do afterward was shag Cary Elwes for being so damn sexy and charming -- he'd charm the clothes right off my ready and willing body, little hotass...

And of course, there's the signature affection and appreciation for the most classic lines in a film EVER. I feel a PB fanart wave coming on...

seriously, I would advise saving the few bucks it would take to rent it and just invest that into buying it. once you watch it once, you'll want to watch it again.

The Princess Bride = one of the best movies ever.

Man, I love it! My whole family can practically quote it word for word.

So true! I do the same thing when I meet someone who hasn't seen it. It's simply wrong to have never seen TPB.
