Yeah the good thing is that it's a movie which really is re-watchable. I could probably watch it a million times if I were able to

Definitely need to see this again but I dont think that I can wait till DVD -- going to have to see it in theaters. Awesome movie by the way -- love mind twisting films. I say a must see film...

Oh definite eye candy!

But yea, I had to call my brother after the movie and ask him about some stuff that I didn't get but he knew about. After that I understood it. I really need to watch it again though. I've only seen it once.

I agree, it was an amazing choice

And I'd also love to see a Norton-Bale combo one of these days, that would be intense, I think

Have yall seen the official website? Just came out -- pretty cool. Great photos and I love the Bale and Jackman's speaking -- check it out.

Freddie, thats a good point about how far Angiers was willing to go...

I definitely want to see this again at some point, probably on DVD>...I think a second viewing would bring more clarity...

I'll make sure I'll watch No Country for Old Men :D

I wonder if Sarah really knew the "secret." I guess if you have lived with a person for a lot of years already, something will be up. What a sacrifice too.

- I know... it's such a rarity. :sigh: I hope one of these days I'll see an Edward Norton-Christian Bale movie.

So this actually good? :look: I was thinking about watching it....

Can't wait to see this -- great plot idea and steller cast. Love Hugh Jackman, Caine and Christian Bale -- can't wait to see how they all interact together. And David Bowie?!?! Will definitely be there.

Michael Caine can nail ME! The man is one of the greats. (OK that was inappropriate, I'm sorry  )

Scarlett Johansson is good in some movies - I liked her in The Island and Lost in Translation, but I agree, not buying the British accent. They could've picked a different actress. :look:

Casting Christian Bale alongside Hugh Jackman was one of the best things to happen in a movie in recent years. Both very hot guys, and both amazing actors.

I was involved from the first moment, and I just couldn't stop watching. Which means that it's a really good movie, cause I tend to drift away sometimes, when I watch movies. So this keeping my interest up the entire time just shows that it's a good movie

And yeah, it's a movie you need to watch several times to pick up on all of the details (even though I understood most of it the first time). What still has me confused is the final scene..

[sp] Was that Angier clone alive in the tub or was he not? Cause to me it looked as if airbubbles escaped at some point, you know, when they zoomed in on him, but I don't know if that was intentional or not. I like to think that he did have a clone of himself who did live on, whether or not it was that one or someone who were somewhere else. [/sp]

I agree about his narration in the end :thud:

I assume Sarah was too troubled by the betrayal of her husband (whether she knew the secret our not) and it was probably all just too much for her. I have no idea why she'd commit it otherwise

Exactly!! When I wathed the ending the first time I had to keep myself from applauding. Hehe. I hate applauding in the theater. :D

No Country for Old Men did something similar and it worked there too.

[sp]Well, all of the tanks of water had an Angier in there. So they're all prestiges.[/sp]
