The Prestige

I thought the movie was intriguing.. but I have to ask..

was there a "prestige" with the last shot from Chris Nolan [sp]concerning another Angiers in a tank full of water?[/sp]

I found it was ironic that

[sp]in the beginning, Angier wasn't willing to harm the birds. Yet, in the end, his obsession with Bordon/Fallon drove him to doing that same trick, except he was using the duplicates.[/sp]

I can't wait to see this one again on DVD though since movies are ridiculously expensive in CA.
 
Yes he is! :nod: Hugh Jackman can play anyone. He's a wonderful artist. :)

life_style we feel exactly the same. When I left the theater I was dazed, what a movie. :sigh:
 
It really is well played, excellently acted. Personally I wasn't expecting too much from Hugh Jackman, seeing as how most of my experience with him was through X-Men, but he's a damn talented actor. He did a great job
 
I am in total, utter love with this movie. I haven't had this feeling for a very long time, but this movie left me wanting more.

It is beautiful, intelligent and really well played. I LOVE THIS MOVIE.
 
Gah, I figured the trailer would be attached to The Illusionist! Man, I wanna see The Illusionist as well, but no one here does. :(

Oh well. I already have the trailer for The Prestige on my laptop, so I can watch it whenever I suppose.
 
Isn't it? Plus his accent was truly fantastic here. I know that's probably very close, if not he's real accent, but it really captured the character(s) tone. It was so vibrant, but so smooth at the same time.
 
Yes! I'm not the only one who saw that, my eyes aren't crocked (although why would they be?!) :)

I went to see The Illusionist tonight and the trailer for The Prestige was attached. Gah. It looks so brilliant. :D
 
Yeah I've thought about that too, and I'm actually also wondering how the twin could get into the apartment still, must be tricky! :)

I just saw this movie and I gotta say that I really looved it, from beginning to end :D, hugh and bale where amazing and I really would like to go and see it a second time

[sp]I am little intrigued too about the end, did one of the clones blinked or something?? I think I saw that :) [/sp]
 
Great movie. I have it on DVD. Except so far the only person that's seen the DVD was my roommate when I was out. :lol:
