The Phone I Want

Hello,
With all the hype around Nexus One...all I want is an Android 2.1 phone at or below $150 with a $30/month unlimited data plan which with appropriate apps from Android store which will allow me to run VoIP, browse the Internet comfortably and with good resolution, unlimited texting, WiFi, GPS, do IMAP4 mail and Exchange server sync, etc.
Screw the carriers with their $80-100/mo voice/data/smartphone plans.
Google's Nexus One was a big disappointment considered in this light.
BoostMobile is on the right track $50/mo. but the phone selection is too limited.
Do you have any idea where I could get such a phone/plan or of a forum where I could pose the question and get a definitive answer?
Thanks,
Scott

There is a reason that carriers like BoostMobile have a cheaper plan. They just don't have the goods to support the big time smartphones yet. Assuming you are in the US, there are really only 4 big time players: Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, At&t. When you pay the higher price for these carriers, you are paying for the networks, support, phone selection, etc...

Check out the T-Mobile Everything Plus plans. They seem to be the best deals right now, but their 3G network has less coverage than At&t.

I feel you man, but if you want the nice android phone with unlimited data and a decent voice/text plan, you are going to be paying $100 or more in the US.

My sprint SERO has most of that for $30/month. My problem is that the curve is the best phone they allow on it (that I have seen).

I'm ready to give it up to get a nexus one I think.
