The Perfect Start to the Perfect Day

Here we go.

Last night my dad broke my radio against the wall because I had my music up too loud. I had to stay up until 8:00am last night / morning to drop someone off at the airport. I wake up today to a fucking phone call, saying that the 30 Seconds to Mars concert I had 4 TICKETS TO, the concert I've been looking foward to ALL MONTH, had been cancelled. My mom's all pissed off today at me for no apparent reason.

So now I'm stuck here, tired as hell, with no radio, no concert, and assloads of homework to catch up on.

And the day's just started.

I hate hearing someone else's loud annoying music. I might not if my neighbors didn't plague me daily with it. Use headphones if you know your dad gets pissed by it. Smashing up your radio is pretty shitty but he probably had a hard day and was taking out on you.

I don't know why taking someone to the airport is bad. I've had to take family members to an airport like 2 hours away when they come visit and I usually have to wake up around 5am (when I go to bed after 12).

I've never had a concert cancelled but it would piss me off esp if I was having a bad day. Maybe they will reschedule?

I hope tomorrow goes better.

Bummer about the concert. It's always a drag when something you're looking forward to is cancelled. Have they rescheduled and will they be honoring current ticketholders?

Bummer about the radio also. Have to admit though, when my husband has the bass booming while he's playing a game, and the whole house is shaking, I've been a bit tempted to flush his speakers. We've just got different noise tolerance levels.

Maybe try humming all of the 30 Seconds to Mars songs that you know, while doing your homework?

Thank you all for your reassurance.

I didn't even have the music up all too loud. The radio itself one takes up about one cubed foot. It wasn't turned up all the way. I put it behind a pillow. With my door closed.

Honestly, you'd have to enter my room for it to be 'loud'. :D

Oh, and about the airport thing? I had to stay up until 8:00am in the morning, because of waits, flight delays, baggage checks, etc.

The man with the rubber glove was surprisingly gentle.
