THE perfect phone

I couldn't agree more.

I personally don't think the N95 is perfect because it is kind of big, battery life will most certainly be an issue, and, well, it won't be 100% stable until about 6 months after its release...and even then, we all know how S60 can be no matter how many times we update. Also, I always worry that sliders/flips will get loose over time.

My 2 cents -

i think sliders are the worst of both worlds...moving parts that can fail, and a large exposed screen that is more easily scratched/cracked

not that i would say no to owning an n95...

i m glad that everyone said the n95 is pretty close, imo it is the perfect phone for now. Except for digital zoom or maybe for some ppl, touchscreen.

Sweet....sorry to the rest of you for sidetracking the "perfect phone" thread but the N95 pretty much takes the cake at this time so it's sort of on topic.

That's great news indeed! Hopefully it will work for Smartmovie users as well. I dont see why it wouldnt but we'll soon find out. Unless of course we're blessed with the E90 in advance. Somehow I dont think the E90 is your cup of tea though. You seem to be a devout SU-8w user and an Nseries aficionado!

haha so true but, i wouldnt rule it out unless i get a chance to try it~

but why would it need to work on smartmovies? u can just use the diectional keypad to fwd/rwd~

lol...I have no doubt you will at least "try" it! ....probably get it sent to you in a nice little package... ...while we wait..... .......and hang on every word you say...... ....and every feature you try

...similar to that N95 you keep so tight in your hands.....I know where you live! ....at least which country you live in.

of course with a 3.2 mp camera it's hardly an E-series IMO. It's screen provides more multimedia capabilities than most of the N series. Of course the outer screen is tiny so perhaps not. Pictures will probably look better on an N95 because it's got the height advantage. Perfect world is having both! If the E90 is announced w/ a whopping amount of RAM you can be sure many Nseries folks will migrate to the E with a quickness.

lol..so far I'm 2-2 for NvsE's and I'm giving the E's the nod thus far. Of course, both my N73 and N80 were "made by Nokia" where my E61 and E50 are Finnies so who knows. If Rcadden gets the word that the E90 supports tri-band UMTS I think he'll just about **** his pants! I iknow I will.
