The Passion of The Christ was on over easter and i'm not a holy person but i think Mel Gibsons film was very powerful and at times very sad, it made me think a little about what Jesus went true, forget about all the hipe and glamer of mel gibson and hollywood this was a film of true importance, well done mel gibson for even having the courege of doing this film.

I watched this film last night and it was just awful. Just blood, gore and torture and with plenty of artistic license thrown in. I don't see any point to this film at all.

I'm not religious by the way, so that holRAB no bearing on my opinion of the film.

Er, yes it does. You say "I don't see any point to this film at all." Well, you wouldn't, as you aren't religious, so it does hold bearing on your opinion of the film.

I realise having spoken to others on the other 'passion' thread who pointed out the agenda behind the film, which, no, I wouldn't 'get' not being religious. So, yes, hanRAB up, me not being religious has everything to do with not seeing a point to it now I understand what the meaning was meant to be.

That wasn't what I was saying. I'm not religious either, by the way. What I meant was, you said that having an opinion on the film has nothing to do with religious beliefs, but I think it does. That's all.
