Definitely. On GG, the characters are also relatable. However, we can't directly relate to the Upper East Side or that particular lifestyle if we haven't lived there, but what I can relate to is some of the situations that people have gone through. After all, who hasn't wanted to fit in with the popular crowd like Jenny or had a friend that stabbed them in the back like Blair?

But on PLL, I think it's even better because it takes place in a place that could be Anytown and these girls could easily be people that we know.

Okay, so I made this video last night. It's totally AU/RPG/fan fic...I have no idea for what it's for. :lmao: Anyway, I've had some signatures about some couple 'christopher/katherine', but this video is of laura/christopher. Now Ed is Christopher, and Laura is Rachel Bilson. :lmao:

I do hate that all the guys are after Elena. Tyler isn't. And there's a great friendship with C/T already. (You know how I'm a sucker for that. :P)

Carter, I don't really have ships either. Jeremy/Vicki, but you know, he has no luck on this show. I'm intrigued by Damon/Katherine. I love the chemistry with Damon/Elena, but I can't really see it romantically. (I think they have a semi-SC vibe, which means so much depending on my mood. LOL) Stefan/Elena don't do much to me. But I don't hate them. Matt really screwed up.

I'll take you up on the slash, Carter. Tyler/Jeremy..and really, just give me the brothers foreve with no one else. I'll be happy.
 
I think it's great! I like it a lot! I watched all five episodes in one day, so I think it's safe to say I enjoyed. :)
 
The guy made her cry 24/7, he made her feel bad about herself, and he always kept bringing in HS!Brooke like she was so horrible back then. The independent and strong, Brooke Davis just disappeared.
 
I hate that too. It's like "are you serious?"
Caroline is awesome. After Stefan she's my favorite.
 
I liked Prue more than Paige tbh. Ha ha, I was waiting for Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan to show up. Only, I was also saying "Where's that mofo Chris?!"

Glad I'm not alone. Marissa isn't my favorite character (Ryan is) but I did like her and I LOVED RM! I don't like Taylor at all in S3 or the beginning of S4, but I did watch 404 and 405 last night and she's more bearable around Ryan. I am glad they aren't rushing that relationship too much and that Ryan is very hesitant... I hope they don't get together in 406 either. Taylor definitely doesn't fit in or blend well, but I could see how they could make her fit a little better in S4... S3, no way. :no:
 
Agreed. I think that's why a lot of people like these girls too. I mean, we get a lot of pressure from people to be great like Spencer does. We get insecurities like Hanna does. We're filled with confusion about our feelings like Emily. We have problems in dealing with what's right like Aria.

Yes, the friendships on this show are developed much better than they are on GG. It seems to me that the characters are also somewhat more relatable.
