I wondered if anyone else has seen this film and what do you think about it?

I thought it was very odd and I was amazed John Hurt and Elijah Wood appeared in it - it must have been for the money....

The trailer looked great! I thought it was going to be a Saw-type thing with more focus on puzzles, less on gore. But the reality was disappointing, slow with a twist than undoes everything. Not worth the effort, really.

I was surprised that John Hurt and Elijah Wood appeared in it too, I know actors have appeared in bad movies before, but even going by the script and plot it was ploddy and non-sensical. I din't get it, and didn't enjoy it.

Wasn't it supposed to be a type of DaVinci Code? I didn't find it very interesting or gripping.

Alot of the acting was bad, especially the prim and proper English accents from ladies. Was it set in 1893 or 1993?
The worst thing about it was the terrible dubbing of Burn Gorman's character. Laughable!

Could have been an ITV mini-serial instead of a film.

murder mystery thriller style movies are my fav so i was sat bored the other day and went trough sky movies and seen the oxford movies was on and looked at the synopsis and thought i was in real luck that id found a good film!!

how wrong i was

it tried to be clever but didnt have the plot or twist to be clever. . . . .like everything was tied up and then undid in the last five mins! terrible movie:mad:
