The Oscars....

Memoirs of A Geisha doing well in all the techy awarRAB. I thought the big blockbusters would get those.

Hooray for Hollywood.....tra la and all that. Perhaps they will stop handing out gongs to rubbish films because they make money. Heck, we may even get rid of crazy Tom...(in my dreams  )

I am so so so so so so happy! I have been a wallace and gromit fan since the very first showing of 'A Grand Day Out' on the beeb, and that is now their third oscar and Nick Parks fourth!

Well done guys.

And I had a tear in my eye when they showed Peter Sallis. After being at the Bafta's and now to be there at the oscars at 85, and a new series of 'Last of the Summer Wine' started tonight...well if I am like him at his age, I will be a happy Boho.

Cracking stuff! I don't care about the rest now! :D

I think he is like Woody Allen..you either get/like him or not. Also, they are both very 'European film' influenced..and those are my favourite films..so I like them.

She was good in Monster. I thought people were being unfair to say she got the Oscar just for looking rough because I do agree, if you see the documentaries about Aileen Wuornos then Charlize did capture her very well - except I think what would have been near impossible for any actress to get across was Aileen Wuornos's twistedness - I thought Charlize was almost a *bit* too serious about everything that was happening.
