someone tell me why Iwo Jima is nominated for Original Screenplay, it has TWO source materials, books no less!
 
Kate gets nominated for stuff she doesnt deserve at times though (as great as she is)
Little Children her acting was awful at times, the crying scene especially, so fake.
 
re the tvu internet channel...i have it on full screen and
the picture and sound quality is better than i imagined it
would be. unfortunately there is a slight streakiness. it is
very noticeable when ellen is on. her chin looks smudged
and is giving the wrong impression that she has a beard.

If most critics dubbed Pan's Labyrinth as their film of the year, why wasn't it Best Foreign Film? I thought it was great. Has anyone seen "The Lives of Others"- the film that won Best Foreign film? If so is it worth watching???
 
Yeah this is true.
To be fair Jennifer was nothing special.
Im not a big fan of Babel, and not seen Notes on a Scandal (the only multiple nomination ive not seen)
So id give supporting actress to Abigail.
