The Oscars 2007

So whats everyones pick for best actor, personally for me id prefer them in this order (although all were great to good)

Forrest > Leo > O'Toole > Will Smith > Gosling

Im a huge Gosling fan, but I dont think this is the best ive seen him. Im a Will Smith fan too.

But Forrest has been the King since he starred in the Shield, simply brilliant.

They've been slightly unpredictable so far... wonder if scorsese and mirren are getting worried.

A hell of a lot of people thi nk she just won for her singing

She cant hide behind her voice and must now choose dramatic roles. Dont waste it like Halle Berry did


An Inconvenient Truth won
 
I used to stay up and watch it, but then I got older and find staying up past 1230 scary enough. I also don;t seem to be as up on films as I used to be - don't get me wrong, I love films but we used to go to the cinema every week, now we hardly go at all. However, part of me is so tempted to stay up this year, just for the hell of it. But it's so boring and the highlights show actually ARE the highlights. Anyone else have this 'dilemma'. Oh, and it would be sheer classic if Helen didn't win after the hype. I personally think it should be Dame Dench but that's based purely on who I like more and think is more varied (and it's a tough call.)
